A painting of Shabbat candles, created in soft, light tones for a pure and clean look. The heavy texture of the candle is sculpted bold, giving it a realistic appearance, resembling dripping wax, it transforms at its lower part into the flowing fabric of a bridal gown, I created this piece with a reference to the verse “Lecha Dodi Likrat Kalah, P’nei Shabbat Nekabelah” (“Come, my beloved, to greet the bride; let us welcome the Shabbat”).
